Book Discussion. Thur Aug 13, 3:30pm. Caleb’s Crossing, by Geraldine Brooks, is historical fiction set in the early colonial days on the island of Nantucket. Caleb is an Indian who befriends the colonists and eventually attends Harvard.

Book Discussion. Thur Sept 10, 3:30pm. Water for Elephants, by Sara Gruen, relates the memories of a 90-year-old man who had been involved with the circus in his younger years. The engaging characters and engrossing story make this a fun read.
