Weekly Classes

Chair Aerobics

Mon: 11:30am. Instruction by video; $2 per session fee.

Thurs: 11:30am. Chair Aerobics/Zumba Gold with instructor; free.

Boot Camp/Power Sculpt

Mon: 6:30pm. Free instruction provided by the Martinsville/Henry County Coalition for Health and Wellness.

Zumba

Tues: 6:30pm. Free instruction provided by the Martinsville/Henry County Coalition for Health and Wellness.

Special February Classes

Food Safety. Sat Feb 18, 8:00am to noon. Information on preparing and serving your meals safely. Training by certified facilitator, reference materials, and refreshments provided. Enrollment, $20. Basket Making. Sat Feb 18, 9:30am to noon. Hazel Coleman, instructor. Each month a different basket is made; come join in the fun. Enrollment, $25; contact the Centre to preregister.

Bob Ross Painting. Sat Feb 18, 10:00am-4:00pm. Ed Gowen, certified Bob Ross Instructor. Enrollment, $65, all supplies furnished; bring a bag lunch. Class size is limited; preregistration and prepayment required by Feb 15. Contact the Centre for more information.

Couponing. Thurs Feb 23, 6:00-7:00pm. Learn about using coupons to pay less at the checkout counter. Join Shewana McSwain of the local Extension Office as she teaches us the ins and outs of couponing. $2 per person.

Special March Classes

Weaving a Stool Bottom. Sun Mar 4, 1:30-3:30pm. Hazel Coleman, instructor; $40 enrollment with stool provided, $25 if you bring your own. Class size is limited; preregistration required.

AARP Driver Safety Program. Mon Mar 26 and Tues Mar 27, 9:00am-1:00pm. Dr. and Mrs. Zanatos, instructors. $12 enrollment for AARP members, $14 for nonmembers; refreshments provided. Completion of this course can sometimes result in lower auto insurance premiums.
